Meet Ginie

🙏🏼 Sabaidee,

I'm Ginie, Founder & CEO at Lao English School. I am a multilingual who truly enjoys learning languages and sharing my knowledge with others. I've always been amazed by how languages can bring people together. Hence at 18, I started teaching Lao, English, and French.

How it all started

Whilst teaching, I made such great connections with my lovely students. I was surprised to learn from them that there were very little up to date resources to help people learn Lao online. Not to mention that those resources did not use daily vocabulary and phrases.

Hearing stories and struggles, and the challenges they were facing with the Lao language barrier to communicate with their loved ones and some, connect with their Lao roots, I knew I had to do something about it…

Lao English School

That is why I started Lao English School in June 2021. With the mission to make the Lao language accessible to everyone, no matter where you are in the world. Because language barrier shouldn't hold you back from connecting with your loved ones.

And every word that you learn, every sentence that you speak, brings us one step closer to that dream. At LES, I have combined my years of teaching experience to create fun and simple courses and resources. When I don't teach or create content to learn Lao, I spend most of my time coding and designing the LES website front-end. I found this passion thanks to LES - I've designed and built it with all my heart. I hope you love our website as much as I do.
